Hi guys, in this video I’m gonna review the Alcatel Pop 4 tablet with Keyboard. I bought this tablet in 2019, it’s been 2 years now. During these days I dropped 5 times, 2 times from 9 feet but luckily this tablet survived. I used to watch a lot of movies, series & even play games like pubg. So let’s go one by one.
So within these boxes it comes Tablet with keyboard, charger, USB Cable, User Manual, Warranty Card. There is an option which comes with a tablet & all accessories but without a keyboard it costs 11,000 rupees. If you plan to buy with a keyboard it costs 12,000 rupees, so the difference is 1000 rupees. I’m pretty sure the keyboard is worth the price for extra 1000 rupees.
So let’s talk about the tablet.
Display size is 10.1 inch which is really good for watching movies & playing games. It has Snapdragon 430 Octa Core Processor & 2 GB ram which is ok for casual games & watching movies.
But I played pubg before it works great but you need to reduce the graphics settings to low, you can play in high settings but it lags too much. Watching movies or series on this tablet are great because it is a Full HD display, with a 10 inch & black level of this display is decent. Since black level is good, the pictures & videos look more pleasant to our eyes. This tablet has a phone call feature which means you use sim into this slot. This tablet comes with 4G. On the top portion you can see there are two slots, one is for sim & another one is for memory card. Speaking of memory this table has 16 GB Rom, expandable upto 32 GB.
This tablet comes with android 6.0 marshmallow, the thing is it’s been 2 years now since I brought there is no single update which is really disappointing. But the OS adopted this tablet specification really well, till now I didn’t notice a single lag while using regular apps or watching movies.
Next thing is the camera, yes this tablet comes with back 8 MP Primary Camera, 5 MP Front. Camera on this tablet is crap. I’m pretty sure no one's gonna buy a tablet for taking pictures. But it comes with a camera so you can use it if you want. With this front camera you can use it for video calls.
The Speakers on this tablet are so good, it is loud enough to hear in a small room. If you swipe down on top there is an option to change equalizer to change audio output. It has some presets you can choose from, which give more sound than normal.
So there is a keyboard, which you can connect using bluetooth. Connecting the keyboard with the tablet using Bluetooth is really fast which is really handy. There is a charging port on the right of this keyboard which you can connect & charge. If you plug the charger you’ll see a red light, once it’s completed this will give you a couple days like 10 to 15 days depending upon your usage.
There is OTG cable support which means you can connect the mouse using OTG cable & use it just like a laptop. This tablet will take upto 2 to 3 hours to get full charge but once it charges it will give you around 5 hours of watching movies, with power saver enabled it gives you additional 1 hour.
This display supports 10 point multi touch & this tablet has G-Sensor Hall Sensor. Also this tablet has GPS with google maps. All I can say is if you want a tablet for watching movies, series, playing casual games then I definitely recommend this tablet. If planning for heavy gaming with high settings then this tablet is not for you.
