Hi guys, in this post I’ll show you my 2 dollar DIY mobile stand for mobile video recording both portrait & landscape mode. I’ll show you how to build this under 2 dollar which is under 140 rupees. So let’s get started.
So first thing you noticed I used wood. You can use whatever material you have like steel, plastic or any other stuff. I got this wood from my computer table keyboard draw. I have never used my keyboard draw, so I took this part of a wood from a keyboard draw. I cut it into 2 pieces, 1 is for height & another 1 is for the base stand. Height 28 centimetre & base wooden piece should be 9 centimetre. But it’s totally up to you for making height longer or shorter according to your requirement.
I don’t have any wooden cutter or drill machine, I manually cut everything so it won’t look that perfect.
So the next thing is you need to attach those 2 pieces. As you can see I didn’t place it in the centre because I’m gonna place the phone this direction which means more weight on this side. So what I did is I moved the height piece a few centimetres away from centre so it will be well balanced once we placed the phone.
I used a screw for attaching these 2 wooden pieces. Once I screw down this stand does not properly sit because of those screw bumps. So I add four bolds, after adding those 4 bold it sits perfectly.
So once you have done all this, the final thing you need is a phone pop holder which you can buy for a cheap price. I brought this under 2 dollars. Once you have the pop holder, place the holder stand on top & make sure you place a sliding direction facing upwards. Once you have done this you can attach a pop holder to your phone & use it right away. The reason why I used this is because you can adjust landscape & portrait. If your phone is not straight you can adjust a rotation.
Also if you pull this, you can change camera position upward & downward position.
