Hi guys, Today I’ll show you my hackintosh Catalina. It’s been more than a month now since I installed & it’s working great so far. No crash or no lags. I have 2 Hard drives, one is an SSD which I installed Catalina & my other 1 TB normal hard drive. It looks absolutely beautiful on my LG 32 inch 1080p IPS monitor.
As you can see I have an i7 processor, 8 GB ddr3 ram, Intel HD 4600 graphics which comes along with i7 processor. My 32 inch monitor shows as a 23 inch monitor. These are my hard drives, here are my 4 by 4 total as 8 GB ram.
Since I’m using my HDMI cable & intel graphics processor all graphics acceleration are working fine right after installing catalina. If you don’t know, VGA cable is not supported on mac & if you have different types of NVIDIA graphics cards graphics acceleration it might not work as well unless you tweak some settings on post installation. Mine works great right after installing because MAC supports Intel graphics.
My audio is working as well without changing any settings, also I do have a 5.1 receiver, after changing some settings 5.1 working as well.
Mac OS catalina don’t have write access on NTFS hard drives. You can’t move or make any changes on external or internal hard drives. So I used mounty software to gain access to both read & write which I can copy files from my catalina Hard drive to my other NTFS hard drives. There are few more paid software as well for accessing NTFS hard drives.
