In this post I'll show you how to screenshot and screen recorded on mac. If you're running mac os Mojave or later this method will work.
If you want to screenshot the entire screen press shift + command + 3 once you done screenshot will save to your desktop.
If you want to screenshot a particular area press shift + command + 4 then draw wherever you want to take a screenshot which will save on your desktop.
You can press shift plus command + 5 to open the screenshot app from there take a screenshot record your screen and more all of which will be saved to your desktop by default.
First three options are taking screenshot and other two options for screen recording, you can go to options for changing default save location on your mac you can set timer microphone input options and last options for mouse settings. You can also press record button for screen recording entire screen.
