Product Photography At Home | Turn your monitor into Softbox light
Hey guys this is Prasanth in this post I will show you how to turn your monitor into your softbox light so let's get started we begin i would like to show you a side by side comparison with normal light and soft box light as a monitor so here it is
So first thing you need is a monitor a single monitor works great but multiple monitors is a plus adding more monitor it's like adding more softbox also bigger screen size monitor is also a plus so in this case i have two monitors which are benq 20 inch and lg 32 inch monitor placement so money replacement is up to you you can place wherever you want since i am shooting a small object i am going to place a 32 inch monitor behind and 20 inch monitor on the left side tilt your monitor downward position so that screen light can face the object.
Make sure you turn your monitor brightness into full later we can just adjust according to our requirement once you're done with monitor placement we are ready to start making some monitor settings to turn your monitor into your softbox light once you get into your desktop you need to right click and turn the desktop icon off so we have a clean desktop second thing is you need to change the desktop background to solid color follow with me [Music] once you select solid color you need to select custom color and pick white color some of you can say why you can't just use a white picture instead of disturbed background the reason why we are using desktop background is in desktop background settings we can choose and change desktop background solid color color by simple clip like this you can also choose custom color once you've done this we are ready to shoot since i don't have a dslr i'm just using my phone which is a poco f1.
